Disclaimer of Control

PURPOSE:

The Office of Insurance Regulation is developing a new rule to implement Ch. 2018-131, Laws of Florida, signed into law on March 30, 2018. The legislation provides a that person may attempt to rebut a presumption of control by filing a disclaimer of control on a form prescribed by the Financial Services Commission.
