Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Six announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Dade Christian School located at 6601 NW 167 Street, Miami, FL 33015

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Six, has scheduled a Public Information Meeting regarding a re-evaluation of design changes which encompass SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive from east of I-75 to SR 823/NW 57 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County. This meeting will be held in an informal, open house format with no formal presentation. The project will focus on roadway improvements which involve widening and reconstructing Miami Gardens Drive to six lanes with a bicycle lane in each direction as well as modifying median openings to improve traffic safety and operations and updating the noise abatement evaluation. This meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the project, become familiar with the study process, and provide feedback. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
