Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four, announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, March 18, 2019, at 5:30 p.m with presentation at 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	African American Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311

Subject:	The purpose of this Hearing is to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptional design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. To review the project documents prior to the Public Hearing, they will be available to the public beginning on Monday, February 25, 2019, at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, located at 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 (Monday and Wednesday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and at the Florida Department of Transportation, District Four, 3400 W. Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The documents will remain on display and at http://browardat95.95express.com/ through Thursday, March 28, 2019. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by sending them to Anson Sonnett, P.E., FDOT Project Manager, 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before March 28, 2019, will become part of the Public Hearing record. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FDOT
