	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Workshop #1 -April 1 from 12:30 to 2 pm (ET); Workshop #2 -April 1 from 2 to 3:30 pm (ET); Workshop #3 -April 2 from 12 to 1:30 pm (ET);

PLACE:	Workshop #1 - This is the first of three workshops that will be broadcast via webinars. The presentation for this workshop is intended for falconers and a general audience. Information will be available at http://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/imperiled. Participation in the webinar will require access to a computer AND access to a telephone. Subject:	The Commission will present a proposed rule that includes regulations regarding the use, placement, possession, and transport of bird traps. The proposed rule is designed to help law enforcement address illegal trapping of birds. The proposed language includes exceptions for individuals authorized to use traps for lawful purposes. The meeting will provide the public an opportunity to provide feedback and offer suggestions on the proposed rule. Comments can also be sent after the meeting to Imperiled@myfwc.com.
