	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Five announces a announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Open House, Thursday, June 6, 2019, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 2800 Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32935

Subject:	Design open house for improvements on State Road (S.R.) 518 from west of I-95 to east of Sarno Road, Melbourne, Brevard County. Financial Management Nos.: 439778-1 and 439779-1 Project Description: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites all persons to attend a public meeting regarding the design of operational and safety improvements along State Road (S.R.) 518 (Eau Gallie Boulevard) from west of Interstate 95 (I-95) to east of Sarno Road. Proposed improvements call for widening S.R. 518 to add an eastbound through lane, providing bicycle lanes in each direction, and upgrading auxiliary lanes. The project will widen the northbound I-95 off ramp, as well as the southbound I-95 on and off ramps to improve operations at the interchange. Traffic signal modifications, sidewalk extensions and drainage improvements are also planned. During the open house, attendees will have an opportunity to view a looping video presentation and project exhibits, speak with project team members and provide input. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
