Overview



	The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, June 17, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The same information will be presented at both workshops.

PLACE:	New World Center, 500 17th Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139 on June 17. Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, 1633 N. Bayshore Drive, Miami, FL 33132 on June 20.

Subject:	The DTPW is hosting an alternatives workshop regarding proposed improvements for the Beach Corridor Rapid Transit Project. As a component of the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan, this project is evaluating rapid transit alternatives and transit stations/ stops. The project goal is to connect the Miami Design District/Midtown and Downtown Miami, along I-395/SR A1A (MacArthur Causeway) or I-195/SR112 (Julia Tuttle Causeway), to the Miami Beach Convention Center area.
