Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Three announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 5:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto Street, Pensacola

Subject:	FDOT is seeking public input about the proposed pedestrian safety improvements on State Road 10A (U.S. 90/West Cervantes Street) from Dominquez Street to A Street in the historic Brownsville Community in Pensacola. The proposed changes include reducing the size of traffic lanes, adding crosswalks and pedestrian-controlled signals, and constructing a center median with a low barrier. Improvements may include the addition of new signals, upgrades to existing signals, and supplementary lighting at existing intersections and crosswalks. Construction on the $7.5 million project is expected to begin fall 2020. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.
