PURPOSE:

The purpose of the rule amendment is to establish a definition for Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Region to implement the statutory requirement that the department establish regions throughout the state within which an HMO is authorized by contract to provide services to State Group Insurance Program enrollees as set forth in Ch. 19-100, 1, at 3, Laws of Fla. (2019).

SUBJECT:

Discuss referral pattern analysis and invite input for establishing HMO regions throughout the state.
