PURPOSE:

The rule chapter updates, amends and condenses the five chapters that currently govern the provision of probation services for delinquent juveniles.

SUBJECT:

Subject areas include the screening and assessment of youth for detention at intake, assessment and evaluation of youth, the use of diversion and community supervision, the proper functioning of Juvenile Assessment Centers, and requirements for non-residential juvenile facilities.
