PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule development is to revise Chapter 62-709, F.A.C., to include changes to the current definitions, revisions to the registration requirements, to provide an option for electronic submittal of the required application and annual report form and to provide clarification to current rule language.

SUBJECT:

The subject matter to be addressed in this rulemaking includes normal farming operations, food waste, mechanical compaction, composting methodology, yard trash facility operations and volume and storage parameters.
