Reporting Requirement for Certified Podiatric X-Ray Assistants

PURPOSE:

The new rule protects the public by keeping the supervising podiatric physician informed of the certification status of x-ray assistants working under their supervision.

SUMMARY:

The proposed new rule informs podiatric x-ray assistants that they need to update their podiatric physician supervisor of any changes in status of the x-ray assistant’s certification.
