PURPOSE:

The Agency is proposing to amend these rules pursuant to HB 21 during the 2019 legislative session to delete references to hospital projects no longer subject to Certificate of Need review.  Language has also been added to a single rule to clarify those projects which require a Certificate of Need.

SUBJECT:

The proposed changes to rules 59C-1.004, 1.005, 1.0085, 1.010, 1.012, 1.021 and 1.030, F.A.C., eliminate references to projects that are no longer under the purview of Certificate of Need review.
