Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	February 13, 2020, 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.

PLACE:	Robarts Arena, Sarasota Fairgrounds Ken Clark Building 3000 Ringling Boulevard Sarasota, FL 34237

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is inviting stakeholders to participate in a discussion to begin the formulation of a corridor vision for SR 780/Fruitville Road from US 301 to just east of I-75. The intent behind this effort is to formulate a Corridor Vision Plan that will be reflective of where the community would like to be and how FDOT, as a partner, can better understand the community's needs. The project team will provide a brief overview of the purpose of the project, discuss previous and current related efforts in the area, and lead discussions to gather input on the future vision for the corridor. This discussion is designed to gather and analyze input from various local and regional entities. FDOT will host a larger meeting later this spring that will target the public. The public is invited to attend the meeting as observers.
