Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation District Two announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	March 4, 2020, 5 to 6:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Oceanway Senior Center, 12215 Sago Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to a public hearing to discuss a proposed median modification on Alta Drive. We will present the recommended improvements at the above referenced public hearing. Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is proposing to close a full median opening along Alta Drive and turn it into a directional median. These changes are part of a larger project that will widen Alta Drive and grant access to future developments adjacent to the Alta Drive corridor. The proposed modifications will reduce conflicts and enhance safety. The hearing will begin with an open house from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period at 6:30 p.m. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status.
