6A-1.0017

School Environmental Safety Incident Reporting (SESIR)

PURPOSE:

This new rule defines the reporting requirements of SESIR, as mandated by Senate Bill 7030 (2019-22, Laws of Florida) in s. 1006.07(9), F.S. The effect is to set forth the requirements for school districts to report school-related incidents, training requirements to enhance accuracy, and accountability for principals, school districts, and the Commissioner to aid in improving reporting.
