Overview



	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, May 18th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm (ET) and Tuesday, May 19th from 8:30am to 10:30am (ET)

PLACE:	This is the first of two workshops that will be broadcast via webinars. All webinars will have the same presentation. Information will be available at https://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/wildlife/gopher-tortoise. Participation in the webinar will require access to a computer AND access to a telephone. Those that do not have computer access can listen in on the phone. Subject:	The Commission will present draft revisions to the Gopher Tortoise Permitting Guidelines. These guidelines provide a comprehensive overview of FWC’s gopher tortoise permitting system, which was developed as one tool to in accomplishing the goals and objectives set forth in FWC’s Gopher Tortoise Management Plan that was approved in September 2012. The meeting will provide the public an opportunity to offer feedback and suggestions on the proposed guidelines revisions. Comments can also be sent after the webinars to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6RWQ5RD.
