68A-13.008

Hunting Regulations for Migratory Birds Other than Ducks and Coots

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to establish regulations for taking migratory birds other than ducks and coots to conform with federal regulations. The effect of the proposed rule amendment would be to reduce the length of the falconry common moorhen season by one day.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment updates the hunting regulations pertaining to the falconry common moorhen season.  The amendment is necessary to conform with federal regulations that limit total hunting exposure days to 107.
