Overview



	The South Florida Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, July 22, 2020, 9:00 AM Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Peer Review Panel Technical Workshop

PLACE:	This meeting will be conducted via Zoom, a media technology free for the public to use. A link will be provided on the District’s website at www.SFWMD.gov/meetings.

Subject:	The District will be hosting a technical workshop with an independent scientific Peer Review Panel for the District’s efforts related to Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR). The workshop will include summaries of previous ASR projects, studies, and reviews conducted as components of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). Additionally, there will be discussion of upcoming ASR work planned and the integration of scientific investigations as part of the Lake Okeechobee Watershed Restoration Project. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment during the Workshop by utilizing the following link: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_InnYqdrkT_W66Sgh2DBaTA This link can also be found on the District’s website at www.SFWMD.gov/meetings, and will go live shortly before 9:00 AM on July 22, 2020. All of this meeting will be conducted via media technology. Members of the public and stakeholders are invited to participate and provide public comment. The public is advised that it is possible that one or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend these meetings. No Governing Board action will be taken.
