Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Five announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 5:30 p.m.

Subject:	Financial Project Identification (FPID) No: 435859-4, 435859-5 The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct a Virtual Public Meeting (VPM) regarding plans to widen two segments of State Road (S.R.) 50. The first section is from County Road (C.R.) 757 to the Sumter/Lake County line in Sumter County (FPID No.: 435859-4). The second section is from east of the Sumter/Lake County line to C.R. 33 in Lake County (FPID No.: 435859-5). This VPM will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting is being conducted as a VPM, which is a free live presentation or webinar over the internet. If you wish to participate in the VPM online, registration is required prior to joining the VPM. Interested participants will need to register at: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6431848761916043276. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the VPM online from a computer, tablet or cell phone. Meeting materials, including the presentation will be made available on the FDOT website by August 27, 2020, at www.cflroads.com (please type 435859-4 or 435859-5 in the search box, click “go” and then select the project). The VPM opens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. A formal narrated PowerPoint presentation will begin promptly at 5:45 p.m. Please provide adequate log-in time to view the presentation in its entirety. FDOT is sending notices to all property owners, business owners, interested persons and organizations to provide the opportunity to give comments to FDOT regarding the S.R. 50 roadway widening design project. The meeting gives everyone an opportunity to express their views about the proposed modifications. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
