Overview



	The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, October 19, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Time

PLACE:	1-888-585-9008, access code: 717-433-638 Due to COVID-19, this public hearing will be held by teleconference.

Subject:	Federal regulations related to the United States Department of Health and Human Services funding requests require states, such as Florida, that are applying for Community Services Block Grant funding to prepare a State Plan as part of the application process. Another part of this process is providing the public an opportunity to review and comment on the contents of the State Plan. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity is holding a public hearing on Monday, October 19, 2020, to receive comments regarding the State of Florida’s Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) State Plan for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2021. APPEALS INFORMATION: If a person decides to appeal any decision of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity with respect to any matter considered at the public meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceeding. For such purposes, he or she may need to ensure that a record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made.
