Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, November 10, 2020, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with an informational video. A formal presentation will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. followed by a public comment period.

Subject:	Financial Project Identification Number: 441224-1 Efficient Transportation Decision Making Number: 14329 Project Description: Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) Widening Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study with limits from south of Kissimmee Park Road to US 192, in Osceola County The Department will provide several options to participate in the Public Hearing. You may participate virtually/online (recommended) via a computer, tablet, smartphone, or by telephone in listen-only mode. Alternatively, you may participate in-person at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center. All attendees will participate in the same live virtual Public Hearing. Visit the project website, www.TurnpikeStCloud.com, to register for the Public Hearing and to select your participation option. Please note that registration works best in the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox web browser. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions on how to join the hearing online. To join the hearing in listen-only mode, call 1-415-655-0060 and enter access code 220-807-753. You should not attend in-person if you are not feeling well. Social distancing guidelines and local ordinances will be followed. The proposed improvements include Turnpike widening from south of Kissimmee Park Road to US 192, modifications to the existing Kissimmee Park Road and US 192 interchanges, as well as new interchanges and access modifications. This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. An informational video, displays, maps and other information that describe the preferred alternative and proposed access modifications have been developed. Potential right of way impacts associated with the proposed improvements including proposed stormwater ponds will also be displayed. All materials that will be on display at the in-person location are available for review now on the project website. Draft project documents will be available for public review from Monday, October 19, 2020 to November 30, 2020 at the St. Cloud Library, 810 13th Street, St. Cloud, FL 34769, (407) 742-8888. Library hours are Monday –Saturday (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Draft project documents are also available now for public review on the project website, www.TurnpikeStCloud.com, and will be available at the in-person location. Project information and updates will also be available on the project’s website. Persons wishing to submit written or verbal comments may do so at the hearing or may contact the Project Manager using the contact information provided below. All statements provided, or postmarked, on or before November 30, 2020 will become a part of the Public Hearing record.
