Overview



	The Sarasota County in Coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday November 12, 2020, 8:00 a.m. through Thursday December 3, 2020, 11:59 p.m.

PLACE:	To participate virtually from your computer, tablet, or smartphone, please visit www.northsarasotamultimodalconnector.com.

Subject:	The virtual public workshop is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to learn about the North Sarasota Multimodal Connector Project Development & Environment Study and to provide feedback on the proposed alternatives for a new four-lane overpass over I-75 in Sarasota County between Fruitville Road and University Parkway. This workshop will be held completely online on the project website, www.northsarasotamultimodalconnector.com, with no live component. The meeting materials, including maps and a chart comparing the potential effects and cost of each alternative, will be available online, for people to review and provide comments. The Virtual Public Workshop will consist of project meeting materials available for review and comment for 21 days, from Thursday, November 12, 2020 through Thursday, December 3, 2020.


	A copy of the agenda may be obtained by contacting: If you would like hard copy packets of the meeting materials, they will be available for pickup at the Fruitville Public Library located at 100 Apex Road, Sarasota, FL 34240, during their regular business hours by Thursday, November 12, 2020. Although there is no live component to this workshop, we encourage you to submit any questions you may have through the project website or contact the Sarasota County Project Representative, Ken Stokes, P.E., at 941-861-5000 or by e-mail at kstokes@scgov.net. A member of the project team will follow up with you to address your question.
