	The Florida Department of Transportation District Four announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Subject:	State Road (SR) 826/Palmetto Expressway Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from South of NW 36 Street (MP 8.355) to North of NW 154 Street (MP 17.950), Miami-Dade County, Florida FPID: 447165-1-22-01, 441830-1-22-01, and 441831-1-22-01 Federal Aid Project Number: N/A ETDM Number: 14455 The purpose of the project is to increase capacity and relieve congestion in the general purpose lanes; address roadway deficiencies causing large speed differences between general purpose lanes and express lanes; enhance access into the express lane system; and improve geometry of the expressway and the frontage road system. The proposed corridor safety improvements include widening roadways, bridges, and shoulders; modifying bridge supports and walls; adding general purpose lanes; extending ramp lanes; converting express lanes and moving plastic tubes; relocating express lane entrances; adding sidewalks; repaving and restriping the roadway. The hearing will begin as an open house with a formal presentation starting at 6:30 p.m. Graphic displays and information about the study will be available for viewing. In-person audience members onsite can approach the microphone and ask questions or make comments in compliance with social distancing regulations. Online viewers will be able to make comments via the GoToWebinar chat box. Prior to the hearing, comments may be submitted on the project website at www.fdotmiamidade.com/sr826north. All statements received or postmarked on or before January 22, 2021 will become a part of the public hearing record. PD&E Study documents and other information will be available for public review from Tuesday, December 22, 2020 until Friday, January 22, 2021. The materials will be located in the lobby of FDOT District Six, located at 1000 NW 111 Avenue, Miami, FL 33172; at the Doral Branch Library, located at 8551 NW 53 Street, Doral, FL 33166; and on the project website at www.fdotmiamidade.com/sr826north. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
