PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rulemaking is to amend and update Chapter 40D-9, F.A.C.

SUMMARY:

Section 373.1391, F.S., provides that the District may establish rules related to District lands. Those rules are contained within Chapter 40D-9, F.A.C., which has not been significantly updated since 2004. This rulemaking is to update the District’s land use rules to address current issues, reflect current practices and procedures, and remove outdated references.
