	The South Florida Water Management District announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Friday, January 22, 2021,10:00 AM Water and Climate Resilience Metrics Public Workshop

PLACE:	This workshop will be conducted via Zoom, a media technology free for the public to use. https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_zmuS0TVSTTimBTplkkKllg

Subject:	This public workshop will provide an overview of considerations for determining the District’s water and climate resilience metrics, observed trends, and implementation efforts. The District is committed to addressing the impacts of sea level rise, climate change, population growth and land development. As part of a series of resilience initiatives, the District is seeking input on the development of water and climate resilience metrics to track and document shifts and trends in District managed water and climate observed data. These efforts support the assessment of current and future climate condition scenarios, operational decisions, and District resiliency priorities. The District’s commitment to these priorities assist with informing stakeholders, the public, and partner agencies in water resilience features while continuing to support local resiliency strategies. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment on the workshop by utilizing the following link: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_zmuS0TVSTTimBTplkkKllg . This link can also be found on the District’s website at www.sfwmd.gov/calendar and will go live at approximately 10:00 AM on January 22, 2021. This entire workshop will be conducted via media technology. One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend and participate in this workshop. No Governing Board action will be taken.
