33-602.203

Control of Contraband

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule is intended to clarify rule 33-602.203, F.A.C. and make the rule consistent with § 944.47, F.S., as amended by the Florida Legislature in 2020.

SUMMARY:

Rulemaking is necessary to amend an existing rule to prohibit the introduction of certain cannabis-related products and vapor-generating devices inside state correctional institutions in accordance with § 944.47, F.S., as amended by the Florida Legislature in 2020.
