Overview

RULE:

61-35.008

Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Departmental Forms

PURPOSE:

to update and revise forms to comply with changes to s.468.605(5)(f) which changes the category from “1&2 Family Dwelling” to “Residential”; s.468.609 (2)(c) which reduces the requirements for individuals applying as a building code inspector or plan examiner to take the applicable exam; s.468.609 (7)(a) which extends the validity of provisional  certificates issued by BCAIB from one to two years; and s.468.613, F.S.,  which adds an additional means of applying for endorsement.

SUMMARY:

Within the provided paragraph the Department proposes to amend Rule 61-35.008 to adopt the forms.
