	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, April 29, 2021, 5:00 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, has begun a Lane Repurposing Study for the US 17 one-way pair in Wauchula, Hardee County. This meeting is being held to allow interested persons an opportunity to be informed and provide comments concerning the location; conceptual design; and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed project to the US 17 (SR 35) Lane Repurposing project. The objective of this lane repurposing study is to promote walkability within the study area as well as support Wauchula’s downtown businesses by providing a safe and welcoming environment along SR 35 in the areas of the one-way couplet for a distance of 3.54 miles. The public may attend as participants by using the link above.
