Subject:	The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) announces public meetings that are open to the public. GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Project No. 599-229 Project Description: Osceola/Brevard County Connectors Concept, Feasibility, and Mobility Study The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is conducting a Concept, Feasibility, and Mobility Study for the proposed Osceola/Brevard County Connectors project to determine alternatives that are feasible from an engineering and environmental standpoint. CFX will hold three public meetings for this study, two in-person meetings and one virtual meeting. The in-person meetings will be held in an open-house format where community members may come at any point during the meeting time to view a project study video, exhibits, ask questions, and provide comments. CFX will observe and enforce the COVID restrictions for in-person meetings that are in place by the specific location. This may include mask wearing and social distancing. The virtual public meeting will begin with a presentation of the study, followed by time for audience questions and comments. CFX began the CF&M study in March 2020 and is scheduled to complete it by August 2021. The goal of the study is to develop and evaluate transportation alternatives from Osceola County to Interstate 95 (I-95) in Brevard County. It will determine if the alternatives are feasible from an engineering and environmental standpoint. The study includes the evaluation and documentation of the physical, natural, social, and cultural environments within the corridors and the potential impacts associated with the various mobility alternatives. Public involvement and interagency coordination are integral to the process. CFX has been coordinating closely with local, state, and federal agencies in this study and looks forward to your input.
