Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	5 -7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8; 3 -5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9; or 3:30 – 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 10

PLACE:	Winter Haven Garden Center 715 3rd Street NW Winter Haven, FL 33881

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, in partnership with local government, is conducting a study of the Cypress Gardens corridor from US 17 to Cypress Gardens Road, Winter Haven, Florida. The purpose of the study is to focus on safety for all corridor users, (pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists). The study will also promote the City of Winter Haven’s goals of walkability and strategic investment on the corridor. FDOT invites the public to participate in any one of the three public meetings. The public is invited to attend anytime between 5 -7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8; 3 -5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9; and 3:30 – 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 10. These meetings will be held in an “open house” format. Materials on display will be the same at each meeting. During the Open studio time, attendees will have the opportunity to review project displays and speak with project representatives.
