	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual (online) and in-person public hearing to present information and gather feedback concerning the State Road 8 Interstate 10 (I-10) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study, Thursday, June 24, 2021, beginning at 5:30 p.m. (EDT). 5:30 p.m. Informal Open House 6 p.m. Formal Presentation, Comment Period Virtual (Online): Access via computer, tablet, smartphone. Register using the link below: https://nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings In-Person: Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend in-person at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum, 6800 Mahan Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32308. FDOT requires advance registration online to help ensure attendees are accommodated according to safety guidelines. Both virtual and in-person attendees MUST register online in order to participate in the public hearing. The intent of the study is to evaluate adding capacity on I-10 by widening approximately 13 miles of roadway from four to six lanes from east of S.R. 261 (Capital Circle NE) to west of S.R. 59 (Gamble Road) in Leon and Jefferson counties. Interchange improvements will be evaluated, as necessary. Maps, drawings and other project information will be available for review online at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. If you wish to participate in the hearing in person, FDOT requires advance registration to help ensure attendees are accommodated safely in accordance with current safety guidelines. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. As part of the project development process and in accordance with Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act of 1966, the FDOT is seeking comments from the public concerning the potential effects on the activities, features and attributes of the Miccosukee Trail due to minor and temporary impacts to the trail. The FDOT intends to make a de minimis impact determination on this resource.
