Overview



	The Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	June 16, 2021, 10:00 AM

PLACE:	4400 North Congress Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407

Subject:	The Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. is holding a public hearing to secure testimony concerning information required for its submission to the Florida Department of Elder Affairs of a Direct Service Waivers for Telephone Reassurance, Education/Training Individual, Education/Training Group, A Matter of Balance (MOB) and Un Asunto de Equilibrio, Arthritis Foundation Tai Chi Program (Tai Chi for Arthritis), Chronic Disease Self-Management, Diabetes Self-Management Program and Program de Manejo Personal de la Diabetes, Enhance Fitness (EF), Powerful Tools for Caregivers, Savvy Caregiver, Tai Ji/Tai Chi Quan: Moving for Better Balance, Tomando Control de su Salud and Walk with Ease. The public is encouraged to attend and to testify concerning the proposed services that the Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. would provide to the senior population residing in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties. Persons who wish to offer comment at the hearing are asked to limit their presentations to three minutes and to restrict their remarks to issues related to the proposed services. Those persons wishing to speak at the public hearing should contact Trish Ernst at (561) 684-5885.
