Overview



	The Department of Health announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	July 14,2021 9:00 a.m.

PLACE:	Tallahassee, FL

Subject:	The second annual symposium will focus on research studies funded by the Ed and Ethel Moore Alzheimer’s Disease Research Grant Program. The intent is to foster collaboration and information sharing among research investigators. This four-hour in-person symposium will consist of three topic-focused sessions designed for clinicians, researchers and students. These sessions will provide an overview of the aims and progress of the following research studies: • Non-Clinical, Behavioral Research •Cognitive Function, Secondary Prevention Research •Clinical, Molecular Research Additionally, information will be shared from the Healthy Brain Initiative and the State Health Improvement Plan, Priority Area 9. A question-and- answer session will be held for the Fiscal Year 2021–2022 Funding Opportunity Announcement for new grants.
