Overview



	The Department of Education announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	July 14, 2021, 9:00 a.m.

PLACE:	St. Petersburg College, Seminole Campus, Conference Center (CC316), 9200 113th St., Seminole, FL 33772.

Subject:	The meeting agenda will consist of updates by Superintendent Grego on behalf of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents; President Williams on behalf of the Council of Presidents, and an update on the Hillsborough Financial Emergency. Additional items for consideration include action relating to the following: Hillsborough County School Board, Nonrenewal of Charters; Amendment to Rule 6A-1.09401, F.A.C.; Request for Approval of Revised Turnaround Option Plan and Annual External Operator Contract for Escambia County Public Schools; Guidelines for Development of 2022-23 Legislative Budget Request; Amendment to Rule 6A-1.0017, F.A.C.; Amendment to Rule 6A-10.024, F.A.C.; 2021-2022 Dual Enrollment (DE) Course-High School Subject Area Equivalency List; Appointment to the Education Practices Commission (EPC); Restrictive Covenant, Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind; Building Lease Action; WMFE TV Orlando; and Appointment of Chair and Vice Chair.
