Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, August 25, 2021, 12 p.m.

PLACE:	Online, www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual project update to present information and gather feedback concerning the improvements to U.S. 90 (Mobile Highway) from U.S. 90A (Nine Mile Road) to west of State Road 297 (Pine Forest Road) in Escambia County. This virtual project update can be viewed at 12 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. The intent of this project is to resurface existing travel lanes and paved shoulders. Additional improvements include: New traffic signal at Mobile Highway and Klondike Road. Addition of right turn lanes on all four corners of the Klondike Road intersection. Addition of westbound left turn lane on Mobile Highway to Klondike Road. Realignment of Millview Road and Mobile Highway intersection to include: Eastbound right turn on Mobile Highway. Northbound right turn lane on Millview Road. Addition of eastbound right turn lane on Mobile Highway at Woodside Road. Right-of-way acquisition at Millview and Klondike Roads will be required. Maps, drawings and other information is available online at 12 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings . FDOT representatives are available to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. The deadline to submit official comments related to this project update is Friday, September 24, 2021.
