	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Fou announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

The meeting will start as an open house with project information on display boards, followed by a presentation. o Registration is recommended as space is limited. The In-Person meeting will be held at the Broward Center of the Performing Arts, 201 SW 5th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. Parking is available at no charge in the public garage located at the corner of SW 5th Avenue and SW 2nd Street, across from the Performing Arts Center. The latest social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Subject:	GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The FDOT District Four, will be hosting two Virtual and one In-Person Kick-off Meetings for the Broward Commuter Rail (BCR) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. A PD&E study is FDOT’s process to evaluate the social, economic, and environmental impacts associated with a planned transportation improvement project. The objective of the BCR PD&E Study is to develop and analyze alternatives that integrate passenger and freight service along the Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway. The purpose of the study is to address congestion issues by improving mobility while supporting economic and land development policies, in the eastern Broward County.
