Subject:	The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is holding a series of public workshops to gather public input on management of the redfish (red drum) fishery. Staff will provide a brief presentation on the current status of the fishery, including the results of a recent stock assessment conducted by the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute, and stakeholder input gathered through the inaugural Redfish Summit. Staff with then gather feedback on future management of the fishery, including potential updates to the management approach for redfish. All stakeholders interested in redfish management are encouraged to attend.
