Claims for Restitution

PURPOSE:

The rule implements ch. 2021-131, Laws of Florida, which amended section 402.181, Florida Statutes, making the department responsible for processing claims for injuries and damages caused by youth in department care and custody.

SUBJECT:

The rule incorporates a form and provides a process for resolving claims for injuries and damages caused by youth in department care and custody.
