RULE:

68B-64.002	Definitions
68B-64.004	Bag and Vessel Limits

PURPOSE:

The purpose of these rules is to provide conservation for Atlantic croaker along Florida’s Atlantic coast by implementing species-specific regulations that will be found in 68B-64, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). 

The effect of this rule will be to implement recreational bag and commercial trip limits for Atlantic croaker harvested in Florida state waters from the Florida-Georgia border through Miami-Dade County.

SUMMARY:

These rules will implement a recreational bag limit and commercial vessel limit for Atlantic croaker in state waters from the Florida-Georgia border through Miami-Dade County that will contribute to the conservation of this fishery in Florida and along the U.S. Atlantic coast.
