Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, November 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. is the Virtual Public Meeting and from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. is the In-Person Construction Open House.

The in-person construction open house will be held at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 4 Broward Operations Auditorium located at 5548 NW 9 Avenue Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.

Subject:	Financial Management No.: 439911-1-52-01 Project Description: SR 9/I-95 Northbound Exit Ramp to SR 820/Hollywood Boulevard Widening Improvements Project, Broward County. Project improvements include widening the northbound exit ramp to SR 820/ Hollywood Boulevard to accommodate a designated right-turn lane, extending the left-turn lane on SR 820/ Hollywood Boulevard to SW 28 Avenue to increase vehicle storage capacity, upgrading roadway signalization, signage, pavement markings, sidewalks, curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and lighting along the northbound exit ramp and SR 820/Hollywood Boulevard. Construction will begin November 8, 2021 and is estimated to be completed in Summer 2022. The estimated construction cost is $ 1,096,096. The Virtual Public Meeting will consist of a brief presentation followed by a question & answer segment and comments from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., and again from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Project staff will be available to answer questions and provide assistance. Questions will be answered as time allows and in order received. If your question is not addressed during the event, a response will be provided in writing following the Virtual Public Meeting. The In-person Construction Open House will have project representatives available to answer questions and provide assistance at any time during the meeting.
