Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 5:30 p.m. (CDT)

PLACE:	Virtual (Online): www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings In-person: Daffin Clubhouse, 320 North Kraft Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual (online) and in-person public hearing concerning the State Road (S.R.) 389 (East Avenue) Project Development & Environment Study in Bay County. This hearing is being held both virtually and in-person to provide interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning proposed improvements. The hearing will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m. CST with a formal presentation at 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period. Virtual (Online): Access via computer, tablet, smartphone. Register using the link below: https://https:nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings In-Person: Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend the hearing in-person at Daffin Clubhouse, 320 North Kraft Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401. All attendees MUST register online at the project website to participate. The intent of these studies is to evaluate the potential for improving the roadway deficiencies along East Avenue which will ensure that the roadway is a freight friendly corridor that also serves the bicycle/pedestrian needs of area residents. Maps, drawings, and other project information will be available for review online at 12 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. Pre-registration is required for the virtual format and encouraged for in-person attendees to help ensure attendees are accommodated according to safety guidelines. Draft project documents are available for public review through Friday, November 26, 2021, at the City of Panama City – City Hall, located at 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32401, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Draft project documents are also available for public review on www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings and will be available at the in-person location.
