	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual (online) and in-person public hearing to present information and gather feedback concerning the State Road (S.R.) 85 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, beginning at 5:30 p.m. (CST). 5:30 p.m. Informal Open House 6 p.m. Formal Presentation, Comment Period Virtual (Online): Access via computer, tablet, smartphone. Register using the link below: https://nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings In-Person: Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend in-person at Warrior’s Hall, 201 Stillwell Boulevard, Crestview. The intent of this study is to widen S.R. 85 from four to six lanes from S.R. 123 to Mirage Avenue in Okaloosa County and reconstruct the interchange at Interstate 10 as a Diverging Diamond Interchange. Changes in access management, and floodplain, and wetland impacts will also be provided at the hearing. Maps, drawings and other project information will be available for review online at 12 p.m. November 2, 2021 at https://nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. Pre-registration is required for the virtual format and encouraged for in-person attendees. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Persons wishing to submit written or verbal comments may do so at the hearing or may contact the Project Manager using the information provided above. All statements provided, or postmarked, on or before Friday, December 10, 2021, will become a part of the public hearing record. Draft project documents are available for public review through Friday, December 10, 2021 at Crestview City Hall, located at 198 North Wilson Street, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Draft project documents are also available for public review on www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings and will be available at the in-person location. Public participation is held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for these projects are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
