Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 4 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, will conduct a hybrid Public Meeting for the Resurfacing Project along SR 802/Lake Worth Road from Raulerson Drive to Palm Beach State College Entrance in Palm Beach County, Florida. Financial Project ID: 441632-1-52-01. This Public Meeting will discuss proposed median modifications at six unsignalized intersections along SR 802/Lake Worth Road. The existing full median openings at Cooley Court, Corrigan Court/Foss Road, Coconut Road, Gulfstream Road, and Mar Mak Drive will be modified to directional median openings by constructing a raised median separator at these locations. In addition, the existing westbound left-turn at 3200 Block is proposed to be closed. Other improvements include separated bicycle lanes, widened sidewalks, and a new signalized pedestrian crossing at Urquhart Street. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2022 and end in Summer 2024. Construction Cost Estimate: $6.8 Million.
