Overview



	The Florida Department of Environmental Protection announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, 9:30 a.m.

PLACE:	Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, 5600 N US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, Florida 34946 and online.

Subject:	The Blue-Green Algae Task Force will meet to discuss data collection and modeling needs to enable predictive modeling work that could identify locations of likely blue-green algal blooms. Predictive modeling is one tool being explored to better inform the public and more proactively initiate innovative strategies for technological mitigation. Members of the public and stakeholders are invited to participate and provide public comment. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and participate in the task force meeting in person or by utilizing the following link: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/4433133445663754766.
