Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in-person meeting, and at 5:30 p.m. virtually.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, will be hosting a Design Public Meeting regarding the widening of Pembroke Road from W of Douglas Road / SW 89th Avenue (MP 0.940) to W of SR-817/University Drive (MP 1.910) from 4 lanes to 6 lanes. This project proposes to provide bicycle and pedestrian accommodation, as well as a new drainage system on both sides of the roadway. The project also includes installing and replacing roadway lighting on the northside of the roadway, upgrading the signals to mast arms at the Pembroke Road and Jodi Lane intersection, and sidewalk relocation due to the roadway widening. The Design Public Meeting will be conducted as both an in-person and a virtual meeting. Participants are invited to attend either in person or virtually. The in-person meeting will follow an open house format. The virtual (online) public meeting will begin with a formal presentation followed by an option to submit comments and questions. All comments will be answered following the meeting. Questions and comments may be submitted in advance by emailing the project manager, or during the in-person and virtual meetings.
