Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, January 27, 2022, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. (CST)

PLACE:	Virtual (Online): Register at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings In-person: Lyndell Conference Center, 423 Lyndell Lane, Panama City Beach, FL

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a hybrid public meeting to present information concerning the widening of U.S. 98 (Panama City Beach Parkway) from Mandy Lane to the Hathaway Bridge. This meeting is being held both virtually and in-person to provide interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed improvements. Citizens are strongly encouraged to attend the virtual format by registering online at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend the meeting in-person. The intent of this project is to improve traffic flow and safety through widening of U.S. 98 (Panama City Beach Parkway) from 4 to 6 lanes from Mandy Lane to the Hathaway Bridge. Right-of-way acquisition is funded; however, construction is not funded in the FDOT Five-Year Work Program. Maps, drawings, and other project information is available for review online beginning 12 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022, at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. The project materials may also be viewed by contacting the FDOT Project Manager at the information below. Pre-registration is required for the virtual format and encouraged for in-person attendees. Interested persons can visit the project website at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings and register for one viewing option (virtual or in-person). The same materials will be presented for each format. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Persons wishing to submit written comments may do so at the meeting or may contact the FDOT Project Manager using the information provided above. The deadline to submit official comments related to this public meeting is Monday, February 7, 2022. Public participation is held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
