	The The Florida Higher Educational Facilities Financing Authority announces a public meeting and hearing to which all persons are invited. announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	(A) Consideration of the application of Barry University (the “Applicant”) for the issuance of bonds by the Authority for the purpose of refinancing of Applicant’s outstanding debt incurred to finance the cost of improvements to the higher educational facilities of the Applicant and the financing of up to $6 million of improvements to Applicant’s campuses located in Miami Shores (Miami-Dade County) and Orlando (Orange County), Florida. The financing is expected to be structured with up to three series of bonds: (1) The proposed Series 2022A Bonds in an amount of approximately $30,000,000, which will be used to: a) refinance the Applicant’s obligations with respect to the existing Series 2011 Bonds issued through the Pinellas County Educational Facilities Authority that financed the cost of improvements to the Applicants higher educational facilities and b) finance new capital expenditures up to $6 million, (2) the proposed Series 2022B Bonds in an amount of approximately $5,000,000, which will be used to refinance applicant’s 2021 Taxable Loan, the proceeds of which were used to refund applicant’s obligations with respect to prior bonded indebtedness that financed the cost of improvements to the Applicant’s higher educational facilities, and (3) the proposed Series 2022C Bonds in an amount of approximately $22,000,000, which will be forward-delivery bonds, will be used to refinance Applicant’s obligations with respect to existing Series 2012 Bonds issued through the Pinellas County Educational Facilities Authority that financed the cost of improvements to the Applicant’s higher educational facilities. (4) Proceeds of the financing will also be used to fund transaction costs and pay the costs of issuance of the Bonds. (B) Conduct a public hearing to receive comments from the public on the proposed issuance by the Authority of its revenue bonds in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $65,000,000 to finance and refinance the cost of higher education facilities for Barry University as further detailed in a separate public hearing notice. (C) Consideration of a resolution of the Authority expressing its intent and preliminary approval to issue bonds of the Authority of the purposes described above in one or more series in a maximum aggregate principal amount of $65,000,000. (D) Any other matters that may come before the Authority.
