65C-30.024

Case Record Face Sheet

PURPOSE:

The Department intends to create rule 65C-30.024, F.A.C., to specify requirements for child welfare professionals regarding the creation of a case record face sheet for children under the supervision or in the custody of the Department.  
The 2021 Legislature passed new law, section 39.00146, F.S.  Rulemaking is required pursuant to section 39.00146(5), F.S.

SUMMARY:

Child welfare professionals must 1) document case information, including recommendations of the multidisciplinary team meeting and transition plans, 2) upload the information in the child’s electronic case file, and 3) transfer the information onto a case record face sheet.
