64B18-17.005

Continuing Education Requirements After Initial Licensure

PURPOSE:

The Board proposes a rule amendment to allow new licensee’s additional avenues to obtain the necessary 5 hours of risk management continuing education.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule modifies existing requirements that new licensees obtain 5 hours of risk management continuing education by attending a Board meeting where discipline is heard to require them to obtain 5 hours of risk management continuing education however they see fit.
