Overview



	The South Florida Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 1:30 PM 2022 Lower West Coast Water Supply Plan Update Stakeholder Meeting #1

PLACE:	Members of the public may participate and provide public comment via Zoom, a media technology free for the public to use: https://sfwmd-gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_c2h-WnUESRiTu5n8zIHnBQ

Subject:	The 2022 Lower West Coast Water Supply Plan Update (2022 LWC Plan Update) will assess current and projected water needs in the LWC planning area through 2045. The LWC planning area includes Lee County and portions of Collier, Glades, Hendry, Monroe, and Charlotte counties. Meeting content will include the 2022 LWC Plan Update overview, goals, and objectives. The most recent LWC Water Supply Plan Update was approved in 2017. The 2022 LWC Update is scheduled to be completed by November 2022. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment on the meeting via Zoom by utilizing the following link: https://sfwmd-gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_c2h-WnUESRiTu5n8zIHnBQ This link will go live at approximately 1:30 PM on March 15, 2022. One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may participate in this meeting. No Governing Board action will be taken. The meeting will be recorded and the link will be made available on the LWC Plan Update webpage at https://www.sfwmd.gov/our-work/water-supply/lower-west-coast at the conclusion of the meeting.
